It happens...
What to do when life gets hard
It’s easy to keep going when things are good. Life works with momentum, so when it’s good it tends to get better and better. But inevitably, it must be not good sometimes. And then, the same momentum principle applies.
You must’ve experienced it even once in your lifetime. It seems like nothing’s going your way. You can’t see good in anything. You feel like everything and everyone is against you. These times happen. If they hadn’t happened to you they sure will. And you must be prepared.
Those are the times you need to be the strongest, because those are the times that differentiate good from the great. It’s easy to stay resentful, to feel sad about yourself, and to do nothing. But we have to remember that struggle is good. The bad times are the ones that make us or break us. And if you don’t allow yourself to be broken you will get out of it stronger than before.
We have to remember our perspective is wrong and keep going. Keep showing up, keep doing our best, and good times will come. They always do. As the old wisdom says: write a letter to yourself and open it at your best and at your worst. In the letter it’s written: it will pass.
